About
Carol Bampa is a designer and manager of creative projects working across the boundaries between art, technology and community. With over 15 years of experience in cultural management, she conceives and realises initiatives grounded in collaboration and participation, with a focus on more open and transparent processes.
She began her career in Brazil at the São Paulo State Department of Culture, producing large-scale events such as the Festival Mapa Cultural and the National Folklore Congress, and was a finalist at the Centro Ruth Cardoso Festival of Ideas with CATA-LOGO, a sustainable waste logistics project.
Based in Guimarães since 2020, she is co-founder of Associação Cultural Minhoca Utópica and creator of Plataforma Paisagem, which brings together graphic art, design and new technologies across nine editions in Brazil and Portugal (2016–2026). Her work integrates web3, blockchain, artificial intelligence, mesh networks and participatory practices: Meta Paisagem (2024), a pioneering event on NFTs and decentralised technologies supported by DGArtes; COUVE, a community token on the Solana blockchain; Futuros em Rede (2025–2026), an ongoing artistic installation within Guimarães European Green Capital 2026, powered by mesh networks and solar energy; and Paisagem Urbana: Territórios de Afeto (2026), an urban art festival in Bairro C, supported by Edital Impacta and DGArtes.
Alongside these projects, she is developing CultureFlow, a SaaS platform that streamlines cultural management processes.
