What possibilities exist for those who cross a border and decide to stay? This essay sets out from that question to present two cultural projects, Paisagem and Futuro em Rede, read here as living networks that draw on the logic of nature, where diversity is the condition of existence and permanence. What unites them is the desire to dissolve borders and to open, within the city, a fertile, diverse and plural ground.

How to Plant a Currency

An open reflection on Couve, Paisagem's social token, launched in 2024. The text reconstructs the ideas that gave rise to it - the commons and the economy of reciprocity, the difference between value and price - and looks with lucidity at its main difficulty: low adoption. Between the prejudice against the technology and the friction of access, it asks what a dormant experiment still has to teach.
